It was our annual, bring-your-partner, after-Christmas event.  The "Mess" in the title is not a misprint---but we outdid ourselves in 2010, playing the first round in a rare heavy snowfall.  As you can see by the photos, by Round 2 the snow had disappeared and we were down to the usual mess.
